Sales and Application Engineer

As a Sales and Application Engineer, you will consult with High-Speed engine builders on turbocharging solutions and maintain close relationships with customers to support them with optimized solutions.

Responsibilities
Support engine builders in the further development of their engines and specify turbocharging solutions that meet technical and commercial requirements
Participate in engine tests at customer test beds and carry out engine performance simulations to competently consult engine builders on turbocharging related aspects
Cultivate close customer relationships on operational and strategic level. Organize and lead customer meetings
Represent the voice of customers in product development projects. Actively participate in the annual product and market strategy process
Support product management and order processing team with customer related market intelligence for optimized product lifecycle management and demand forecasting
Qualification
Required
University degree in mechanical engineering ideally with focus on internal combustion engines
Sound knowledge of thermodynamics and engine performance
Good sales and networking skills
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies
A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
Willingness to travel
Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
English language requested
