POOL: RedTire Program Finance Analyst Student Intern
The Center for Public Partnerships & Research is focused on enhancing the economic well-being of Kansas through initiatives like the RedTire program. The Finance Analyst Student Intern will assist in financial analysis and valuation modeling to support business transitions for small to medium-sized enterprises.
Higher Education
Responsibilities
Extrapolate raw financial data (from tax returns and company P&L’s) into RedTire models
Perform business valuation analyses using established models and procedures
Help with industry, location, and market research/risk initiatives
Other ad-hoc financial and modelling analysis duties as required
Assist with day-to-day administration of RedTire and help with leads for candidate business (sellers) and buyers for inclusion in the program
Qualification
Required
Business undergraduate student with finance or accounting tracks OR MACC or MBA graduate student with finance
Completion or concurrent enrollment in 'Finance' - FIN 310 or 'Honors Finance' - FIN 311
Preferred
Working experience in a Finance-related field from an external employer internship covering some aspects of working with financial statements and/or valuation methodologies
Benefits
