Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, modify and repair all automated process control, Electrical-Mechanical machinery
Responsible for performing all preventative maintenance on all machines and support equipment and assisting when needed with preventative maintenance on equipment in throughout the facility
Collaborates with Production IT and Engineering to prevent machine downtime and communication related issues
Frequently interacts with Leads and operators to resolve issues with equipment
Implement programs to decrease downtime and improve efficiency
Performs root cause analysis when required on all plant machinery
Utilize KPI’s to improve equipment uptime and decrease downtime
Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of process controls
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
5 years of manufacturing experience required
Requires a strong working knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems
Must have the ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems
Must work well in a team environment
Must have excellent communication skills
Must be highly motivated and willing to learn new systems and technologies
Must have excellent knowledge of basic hand tools
Must have a strong mathematics and computer skills
Must physically be able to bend, stretch, and stoop, but not limited to only these physical activities
Requires lifting of 40 lbs. or more without aid
Requires normal hand, eye, and walking coordination
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and overtime
Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed
On-call rotation required
Preferred
2 year completion of Electro/Mechanical Course from a recognized Technical Institute is preferred
1 -2 years' experience in general machining (lathe, milling, grinding)
