Responsibilities
Lead the technical execution of a next-generation missile defense program
Establish and enforce processes and standards ensuring structural integrity across the SBI program
Develop and validate structural models and manage structural margins across configuration
Define and maintain fracture control, fatigue, creep, and damage tolerance methodologies
Establish the processes by which verification and test activities related to structural integrity are performed
Qualification
Required
10+ years experience developing and managing Fracture Control Plans and performing structural analysis using FEM methods
Proven leadership in design, analysis, and verification on a major aerospace program
Ability to scale analytical rigor to match program maturity and risk
Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and coordinate across hardware and software boundaries
Expertise with NASTRAN, ABAQUS, NASGRO or comparable analysis tools
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field. Master's or Ph.D. preferred
U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret
Preferred
Advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
Experience with missile defense or space vehicle programs
Strong track record leading cross-functional engineering teams and managing design-to-delivery cycles
Background in systems engineering or technical program management
TS/SCI clearance
