Technical Support Engineer - Tier 2, 3 - onsite then hybrid
CyberCoders is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to join their IT team. The role involves troubleshooting software and hardware issues, assisting with application installations, and configuring new hardware to provide enterprise-level support.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and configuration issues across Windows and macOS environments
Provide real-time support via remote desktop, chat, email, and phone
Guide users through troubleshooting steps and technical solutions
Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g., developers)
Maintain accurate logs and documentation of support activities
Manage laptop imaging, asset tracking, and inventory of IT equipment
Conduct IT onboarding sessions for new hires
Support mobile devices
Assist with office services and data center tasks, including office moves
Administer Service Desk tools and manage Intune and JAMF configurations
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in technical support, with a focus on white-glove customer service
Strong expertise in macOS and Windows operating systems
Hands-on experience with Intune, SCCM, JAMF, WSUS, and application packaging
Familiarity with Active Directory, Okta, Office 365, and Group Policy
Excellent communication skills-able to adapt your style to different audiences
Preferred
Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting and ServiceDesk Plus is a plus
