They are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Industrial Equipment Technician responsible for disassembling and reassembling gearboxes, collaborating with team members, and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Disassemble and reassemble gearboxes with precision and care
Set and align bearings (preferred but not required)
Lift and move parts or equipment weighing 50–75 lbs
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency repairs
Collaborate effectively with team members to complete repairs and maintenance
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Accurately document work completed and parts used

Required

At least 1 year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Disassemble and reassemble gearboxes with precision and care
Lift and move parts or equipment weighing 50–75 lbs

Collaborate effectively with team members to complete repairs and maintenance
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Accurately document work completed and parts used

Preferred

Familiarity with machine tool equipment repair
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Reliable transportation and flexibility to work on-call as needed
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Excellent problem-solving skills
Works well under pressure and in collaborative settings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
