Responsibilities
Produce electrical designs for complex projects, ensuring successful execution from concept to completion
Design and develop electrical systems using Autodesk Revit and Autodesk AutoCAD
Design building and site; power, photovoltaic, enginery storage and lighting systems
Prepare and review project specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards
Perform load calculations, circuiting, and short-circuit analysis using industry-standard software
Ensure compliance with California energy codes (Title 24) and other applicable regulations
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions
Maintain open communication with stakeholders and facilitate a collaborative work environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field
Minimum of 2 years of electrical engineering experience in the MEP industry
EIT or equivalent industry experience
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
Proficiency in SKM, ETAP. (Power system analysis, load calculations, short-circuit analysis, arc flash studies)
Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu
Proficiency in ComCheck, Energy Pro, or other energy code compliance tools
Basic understanding of Lighting Calculation Software
Experience developing and reviewing project specifications
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a challenging, flexible, and empowering work environment
Preferred
Knowledge of federal and military projects (UFCs and UFGS) is a plus
