The Senior Accountant will manage accounting for homebuilding inventory and assist with financial reporting while contributing to process improvements in a dynamic team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Manage accounting for homebuilding inventory, including review of job costs, permitting costs, lot costs, and inventory classifications

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

Analyze expense reports, verify coding accuracy, and ensure entries are recorded properly

Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency

Organize, research, and assign inter-company transactions including monitoring weekly workbook

Assist Controller with month end close
