Quality Inspector-PCMM Technician
Leidos is seeking a talented PCMM Technician to join a diverse team dedicated to creating innovative solutions for complex problems. The role involves inspecting large scale parts at various stages of machining, documenting non-conforming materials, and providing feedback to machinists and engineers based on data collection.

Responsibilities
Inspecting large scale parts at various stages of machining from first piece to final inspection utilizing Romer arms, Laser trackers, or scanners (handheld or blue light) as well as any manual layout
Documenting non-conforming material as required
Providing concise feedback to machinists and engineers based of data collection
Maintain all measurement equipment
Execute or witness test procedures and generate test reports
Reading and interpreting drawings, assembly schematics, and specifications and prepare handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports
Generate quality documentation including inspection reports, bubble prints, C of C’s and NCR’s
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED with 3-5 of prior relevant work years of relevant experience
Candidates must be fluent with standard measurement equipment, i.e. micrometers, calipers, intra micrometers, optical comparator etc
Candidates must have 4 or more years' experience using Romer Arm, AS1 Scanner, Leica AT960 Laser Tracker, Leica AT402 Laser Tracker, or CMM
Candidates must be proficient in GD&T per ASMEY14.5-2009
Candidates must be able to execute or witness test procedures and generate test reports
Candidates must have demonstrated experience reading and interpreting drawings, assembly schematics, and specifications and prepare handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports
Generate quality documentation including inspection reports, bubble prints, C of C's and NCR's
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL, area
Preferred
Experience in inspection of complex aerospace hardware, non-conforming material, Material Review Board (MRB), review/creation of Acceptance Data Packs / First Article Inspection
Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems, AS5553 counterfeit prevention, and AS9102 first article inspection
Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
