Start in 2026 SummerPURIS is dedicated to cultivating a better food system and making a positive impact. The Field Research Intern will support the Commercial team by assisting with seed research plots, collecting data, and collaborating with agronomists to evaluate seed performance.

Responsibilities
Assist with planting, maintaining, and harvesting seed research plots and greenhouse trials
Collect and record agronomic and phenotypic data, including plant health, yield, and quality metrics
Support seed preparation, cleaning, and sample labeling for ongoing trials
Help analyze research data and summarize findings for internal reporting and presentation
Collaborate with agronomists and scientists to test new breeding lines and evaluate seed performance across environments
Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces in field and laboratory settings
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Biology, or a related field
Comfortable working outdoors in variable conditions and performing physical tasks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on research projects
Interest in plant genetics, seed technology, and sustainable agriculture
