Responsibilities

Lead development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using Buildkite and Harness to improve build speed, reliability, and security
Automate deployment workflows and integrate security scanning and post-deployment monitoring
Drive developer productivity through automation and process improvements
Architect and build an internal resource management tool for capacity planning, capitalization tracking, and program visibility
Deliver features like org chart visualization, resource dashboards, and integrations with JIRA, Confluence, and Excel-based data sources
Mentor developers, review code, and ensure best practices across DevOps and web projects
Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical solutions with business and operational goals

Required

5+ years of experience in software engineering, with strengths in DevOps and web development
Expertise with CI/CD platforms (Buildkite, Harness) and AWS
Strong skills in automation scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
Experience building modern web apps using JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
Background in monitoring, observability, and security integration
Proven experience leading small teams or contractors in a technical capacity
Clear, proactive communication and a collaborative mindset

Preferred

Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
Familiarity with resource or portfolio management systems
Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., Cursor AI)
