Responsibilities

Managing and leading multidisciplinary teams on complex contaminated sediment sites
Developing and refining conceptual site models for complex sites
Leading/supporting remedial investigations, pre-design investigations, remedial design, and remedial action activities under federal and state lead regulatory programs
Independently managing large projects
Developing detailed cost estimates for complex projects that include multiple phases of fieldwork and reporting
Communicating technical information to varied audiences (e.g., clients, staff, regulators, teaming partners, and stakeholders)
Writing and leading the preparation of complex technical reports
Leading and mentoring staff

Required

Candidates should hold a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in hydrogeology, geology, environmental science, environmental or civil engineering, or related technical field
12+ years of professional experience in the hydrogeology/geology or civil engineering fields with an emphasis on soil, groundwater, and sediment investigations and remediation, and groundwater fate and transport studies
Oregon R.G. or P.E. license or Washington L.G. or L.H.G. license with the ability to obtain licensure in Oregon within 6 months
Thorough knowledge of state (Oregon and Washington) and federal (CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA) regulatory frameworks
Extensive experience in project and client management
Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A desire to grow both intellectually and professionally
Possess strong organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers
