Agronomy Intern @ Wild Spring Dunes
Wild Spring Dunes is a developing public golf resort and refuge, and they are seeking an Agronomy Intern to immerse in all aspects of golf course management. The intern will work with the agronomy leadership team to build technical expertise and develop leadership skills across various operational areas.

Responsibilities
Irrigation Management: Operation, troubleshooting, and repair of irrigation systems; moisture management; POGO data collection
Chemical & Fertilizer Application: Calibration, safe handling, and application of fertilizers and plant protectants; recordkeeping and inventory management
General Turfgrass Management: Daily course set-up, mowing, rolling, hand watering, bunker maintenance, and surface preparation for championship conditioning
Staff Leadership & Operations: Crew management, work planning, scheduling, and team leadership during daily setup and cultural practices
Golf Course Construction: Exposure to in-progress course development, drainage, grow-in practices, and project management
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related program
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn both maintenance and project management
Able to work varying hours, including early mornings, weekends, holidays and in varying weather conditions
Demonstrates strong teamwork, communication, and leadership potential
Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, bend, and kneel for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. consistently
