Exercising independent judgment in developing work methods and procedures
Providing critical support to the Commissioner of the Revenue and senior staff
Qualification
Required
Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree in accounting or a related field
A minimum of five years of full-time equivalent experience with clerical/technical accounting functions to include record and document control functions
A minimum of three years of full-time equivalent experience in customer relations to include direct customer contact, problem identification, and resolution required
A minimum of two years of full-time equivalent supervisory experience
Must successfully complete a background check related to this position prior to any offer of employment or promotion
Requires effective communication with internal and external customers
May require working non-standard hours including evenings, holidays and weekends
The incumbent may be considered 'essential personnel' during City emergency situations or at the direction of the City Manager which may include long hours and unusual schedules

A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
