Basepoint Building Automations is driven by innovation and collaboration, seeking an Engineer to enhance building performance. The Engineer will design control systems, maintain documentation, and engage with industry trends while working closely with project managers and other team members.

Responsibilities

Design control systems: You’ll spend the majority of your time, about 60%, interpreting construction bid drawings, specifications, and scopes to engineer effective systems that meet project goals while staying under budget

Maintain documentation: Approximately 30% of your role will involve creating and assembling formal design documentation, while working closely with project managers to coordinate project orientation, information requests, and timelines

Industry engagement and site visits: About 10% of your time will be dedicated to staying current on industry trends through participation in trade organizations like ASHRAE and GSX, and occasionally visiting job sites with project managers to gather insights and ensure design effectiveness

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or associate's degree with relevant design experience

Project experience with the ability to design and engineer control systems for complex projects, utilizing best practices and ensuring proper integration

Driver's License required as you must be able to travel to job sites as needed
