Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join their team as a Manager of Quality Improvement. The role involves ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practices, quality audits, and collaboration with operational teams to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities

Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care through the integration of evidence-based practices, virtual care technologies, and quality improvement

Perform regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with operational teams to identify and resolve quality issues

Analyze data to identify trends and root causes of quality defects; propose and implement plans of correction

Provide training and guidance on quality assurance practices and tools

Drive the development and execution of strategies to mitigate potential quality-related issues

Lead and advance quality initiatives, virtual care and telehealth services

Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of telehealth programs, ensuring staff are trained and equipped to deliver remote care effectively

Required

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field

An active RN license in the state of practice is required for all Registered Nurses

BLS (Required within 90 days)
