As a Commissioning Engineer II, you will oversee the commissioning of Battery Energy Storage System projects, ensuring compliance with contracts and project requirements while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
Oversee all commissioning activities to transition BESS facilities from construction to safe, stable, and reliable operations
Develop and execute a Commissioning Plan, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget and schedule
Examine project permits, agreements, licenses, registrations, and contracts to identify necessary data collection and activities for commissioning
Analyze QA/QC documentation during construction to adjust the Commissioning Plan and address issues with stakeholders
Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure proper project closeout, address issues/claims, and lead continuous improvement activities related to start-up, commissioning, and testing
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree in management, engineering, science, or technology; in lieu of a degree, a minimum of five (5) years of relevant hands-on engineering experience in project execution, commissioning, or operations will be considered
A minimum of two (2) years' experience related to the development, design and/or construction of complex energy projects
Experience in leading, managing, and/or directing multi-discipline teams and external partners
Ability to be flexible and adjust to changing project conditions, providing solution based alternatives, and developing recommendations
Working knowledge of technical software such as SCADA and other Energy Management Systems (EMS)
Working knowledge office software such as MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, MS Project, and other database software or construction software such as like ArcGIS, GreenIT, SAP, and Procore
