Responsibilities

Selecting and specifying equipment
Preparing detailed system piping and instrumentation diagrams
Performing system and equipment sizing calculations
Establishing facility design requirements and developing the system safety basis
Providing consulting and code interpretations to interfacing disciplines
Supporting the development and/or maintenance of fire hazards analyses or fire protection design analyses
Reviewing supplier and subcontractor designs and installations

Required

Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelor of Science degree program in Fire Protection Engineering at an accredited college or university
Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies in the above field
Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future
Ability and willingness to relocate and/or travel to domestic and/or international project jobsites
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Preferred

Currently enrolled in a Master of Science degree program in Fire Protection Engineering at an accredited college or university
Completed relevant coursework with a strong GPA
Excellent written and oral communication skills
