Responsibilities
Developing, planning, and implementing new process controls to maintain quality
Performing analysis assembly and testing processes to identify areas for improvement
Collaborating with design engineers to optimize product design for efficient manufacturing
Creating detailed work instructions and training employees’ new processes
Addressing and troubleshooting issues that may arise during production
Makes recommendations for improvements in products in terms of improved cost and quality
Trains and instructs other workers as assigned
Always maintain a clean safe work area
Complies with company rules, policies, and procedures. Reports any problems circumstances to manager
May, on occasion, perform other related duties to aid other teams on request
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Experience as an Electrical Process or Test Engineer or similar role
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and project management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point is a necessity
Ability to work for prolonged periods on a computer or in a lab environment
Ability to move test equipment up to 25 pounds
Must be able to support limited travel to support customers and testing as required
Preferred
Experience with manufacturing electrical test equipment
Experience with designing specialized test equipment
