The role involves monitoring machine operations, ensuring product quality, and maintaining production efficiency.

Responsibilities
Ensure that automated production equipment and material specification are functioning within operating parameters of the process sheet
Visual inspection of castings that meet foundry department standards
Observes machine alarms for malfunction and makes adjustment to run at maximum efficiency of 80 sec/cycle and/or notify casting lead person for adjustments
Completes all production paperwork to improve production methods and equipment performance
Identifies scrap and segregates it from production
Performs molten metal furnace cleaning weekly
Ability to do all job functions as outlined in the functional job analysis
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
Must pass Chicago Faucets Functional Job Analysis
Preferred
Prior experience in foundry, die casting manufacturing environment
Understand basic casting practices
