Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer - 26017
Mission Technologies, a division of HII, specializes in national defense and cybersecurity solutions. They are seeking a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to act as a Subject Matter Expert, responsible for creating and maintaining DSP software, evaluating new technologies, and collaborating with a multi-discipline team.
Responsibilities
Be part of a team responsible for creating, maintaining, and augmenting digital signal processing software
Present status reports to key internal stakeholders
Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve digital signal processing chains
Other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience
Bachelor's or Master's Degrees in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent work experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with advanced security checks
Minimum Secret clearance is required to start
3+ years of digital signal processing experience
Cellular/satellite communications, wireless protocols, algorithms, data analysis
Good written and oral communication skills
Self-starter – takes the initiative to research, learn, and deliver. Anticipates the play
Team player – humble, collaborative, and focused on making sure the entire team succeeds
Preferred
3+ years of programming experience in C/C++, MATLAB and Python
3+ years of experience with CUDA/FGPA signal processing
3+ years of experience with RF test equipment
Experience with X-Midas, GNU Radio and/or REDHAWK
Experience with containers like Docker and Kubernetes
Experience working in cloud environment
