They are seeking a skilled Espresso Machine & Coffee Equipment Technician to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial espresso machines and related systems while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and related systems
Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and quality assurance testing
Install new equipment, including water filtration and relevant plumbing/electrical connections
Communicate with customers and internal teams to coordinate service calls and timelines
Maintain organized records, parts inventory, and service documentation
Participate in a shared on-call rotation for urgent service needs (stipend or overtime eligible)
Uphold manufacturer safety and quality standards

Required

Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Hands-on experience repairing or maintaining equipment or machinery
Strong troubleshooting skills and composure under pressure
Excellent customer service, organization, and time management
Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to lift up to ~50 lbs and work in tight spaces behind bar setups

Preferred

Experience with coffee or espresso equipment preferred (training provided)
Familiarity with espresso machine brands: FAEMA, Rocket, Cimbali, Slayer, La Marzocco, Fetco, Bunn, Curtis
Experience in the coffee or hospitality industry
Basic digital literacy (email, work orders, inventory software)
Soldering/brazing or EPA 608 certification
