Responsibilities
Setting up opportunities, proposals and projects in accordance with WSP’s Project Delivery Manual using the Horizon platform (an Oracle-based accounting system)
Communicating with the project team to assist with the monitoring and control of budgets, expenditures, and schedules
Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers and helping with preparation of subcontractor work/purchase orders
Generate project financial reports, including tracking the financial performances of projects
Setting up and maintaining project Sharepoint sites
Interfacing with the accounting team to ensure compliance with client invoicing requirements
Assist with tracking of invoices and project payments
Processing/formatting of project deliverables, including reports, memos, technical specifications
Ensuring project files and documents comply with WSP’s ISO system
Assist with the preparation of proposals
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience working with consulting engineering project controls or other interface with consulting accounting systems
GED or High School Diploma
MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and others
Working knowledge of cloud-based file sharing platforms such as SharePoint, ShareFile, etc. is an advantage
Experience in field/supply logistics and travel bookings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Deadline oriented, ability to track and meet multiple concurrent deadlines
