Business Development Manager / Strategic Accounts - Midwest

They are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth in their Medium Voltage Motors and Drives Services portfolio, focusing on building relationships and aligning sales strategies with customer excellence.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute go-to-market (G2M) strategies for your territory
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, business history and installed base data to identify leads and target accounts
Support direct and indirect sales teams throughout the service sales cycle—both onsite and remotely
Monitor and drive sales performance to exceed targets
Train, coach, and develop channel partners and account managers to ensure market coverage
Establish strategic service agreements (MSA, LTSA) with key customers
Serve as a subject matter expert on service offerings and processes
Champion Innomotics’ digitalization strategy across customer engagements
Act as a liaison for escalations between customers and delivery teams
Provide feedback to functional teams to improve customer-facing processes
Collaborate with the Innovation team to shape future service offerings
Lead and contribute to division-wide growth initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
5–10 years of proven experience in service sales or business development with industrial customers
Strong blend of new business development and account management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Familiarity with CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
Analytical mindset with ability to assess territory performance, identify coverage gaps, and uncover growth opportunities using data
Strategic thinker who aligns daily actions with broader business goals and long-term growth initiatives
Skilled communicator with a customer-first approach; able to lead key accounts and support others in a collaborative sales environment
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and work effectively across internal and external stakeholders
High sense of ownership and urgency in resolving customer issues and driving initiatives to completion
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred

5–10 years of experience in Industrial electrical field (MV Drives, Automation, MV Motors, Switchgear)
Background in B2B aftermarket sales
Experience in key verticals such as Oil and Gas, Cement, Metals, Marine
