They are seeking a highly talented Electrical Sr. Field Engineer to support electrical work scopes on the Chickamauga Dam Project in Chattanooga, TN, focusing on inspections, evaluations, and providing technical direction.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, performs routine duties

Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications

Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work

Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design

Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting

May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors

Required

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

AutoCAD experience

6 years' experience in heavy electrical construction

Electrical drawings

Layout work, materials per specifications

Layout equipment for installation

Prepare RFI's

Prepare submittals and track

Strong problem-solving skills and consistent attention to detail

Work independently and effectively to prioritize tasks

Highly organized with excellent time management skills

Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills

Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite

Able to walk, stand, climb ladders for an extended time
