Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with company's strategic goals
Develop and execute growth strategies to expand market presence and increase revenue
Establish and maintain strong relationships with agents, producers, brokers, and other key stakeholders. Act as a primary point of contact, addressing client needs and fostering long-term partnerships
Work closely with the underwriting team to align on risk appetite, ensure product suitability, and maximize new business acquisition while maintaining profitability standards
Partner with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns, promotional materials, and presentations that communicate our value proposition effectively to prospective clients
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Commercial Casualty Underwriting, Business Development, or Sales
Deep understanding of insurance products, commercial lines markets, and industry trends
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with large national brokers and key stakeholders
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Non-Admitted experience is strongly preferred
Professional designations such as CPCU or ARM are a plus
