Responsibilities
Designing, building, and maintaining data warehouse environments (on-prem or cloud)
Developing ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar
Gathering requirements and translating business needs into data models and reporting solutions
Building dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
Managing data quality, governance, metadata, and documentation
Optimizing database performance and SQL queries
Supporting data migration, integrations, and modernization initiatives
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, business units, and technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Professional experience in data warehousing, ETL, or data engineering
Proficiency with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Experience with at least one modern ETL/ELT tool (e.g., SSIS, ADF, Informatica, Talend, Databricks)
Ability to analyze and interpret data to support business decisions
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a client-facing or collaborative team environment
Preferred
Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
BI/reporting experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
Data modeling experience (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault)
Familiarity with Python, Spark, or other data engineering tools
Public sector or enterprise data experience
Knowledge of data governance best practices
