Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and control systems across our southern California facilities
Upgrade and retrofit existing systems to meet evolving operational needs and safety standards
Lead electrical projects, including design, planning, budgeting, and execution, ensuring projects meet deadlines and quality standards
Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations
Conduct regular inspections and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities
Provide expert troubleshooting for complex electrical issues; respond swiftly to emergencies to minimize downtime
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an electrician in a facilities management or industrial/commercial environment
Proven experience with complex electrical systems and high-level troubleshooting
Proficient in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Solid understanding of PLCs, motor control, and building management systems (BMS) is a plus
Journeyman or Master Electrician license as required by local regulations
OSHA and other relevant safety certifications
Must possess a valid class C drivers license
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset
Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and elevated platforms
Must be comfortable lifting moderate weights and working in physically demanding conditions
