Responsibilities
Provide high quality care for OB patients by accurately managing their pregnancy and any needs during the postpartum period
Provide high quality care for GYN patients which includes accurately diagnosing and treating patients who present with acute gynecological issues
Maintain appropriate documentation within the electronic medical record system in accordance with Aizer’s policies
Provide support and high-quality care for laboring patients at Good Samaritan Hospital, based on the on-call schedule
Provide and maintain effective supervisory responsibility, as may be required, for ancillary health care staff within the department including, but not limited to, midwives, physician assistants, nursing staff and medical assistants
Perform surgical procedures, when necessary for patient care
Qualification
Required
Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited medical school
Current New York State medical license and DEA license
Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
