Responsibilities
Define Walmart’s automation platform strategy: Lead the development of multi-year plans that align automation capabilities, platforms, and standards across the supply chain
Shape investment and partnership opportunities: Collaborate with Corporate Development, Product, and Finance to evaluate automation technologies and ventures that strengthen Walmart’s ecosystem
Design concept solutions for emerging opportunities: Identify, explore, and validate new automation concepts that unlock productivity, resiliency, and capacity across the network
Translate ideas into action: Synthesize input from technical, operational, and strategic partners into clear, executable roadmaps that move the business forward
Lead financial storytelling: Build compelling investment narratives and capital business cases that connect automation initiatives to financial impact and associate experience
Drive collaboration and alignment: Partner with Global Tech, Supply Chain Engineering, and Operations to ensure that automation platforms are standardized, scalable, and future-ready
Act with ownership: Anticipate challenges, identify high-leverage opportunities, and lead with curiosity and accountability to deliver lasting results
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 4 years' experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area
6 years' experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area
2 years' supervisory experience
Preferred
Masters: Computer Engineering
