Responsibilities
Ability to manage multiple infrastructure projects concurrently
Liaison between the Owner, design team, and contractor
Ability to assign and manage resources as needed across multiple projects
Oversees estimating reconciliation
Coordinate architect/engineers/subcontractors and contractors on respective contracts
Coordinate schedule and budget information on multiple projects
Ability to review project documents (drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, schedules, etc.) and evaluate the completeness for the respective phase of design and/or construction
Ability to engage in the resolution of potential claims and change orders
Responsible for managing the quality of the project(s) to ensure successful completion within budget and schedule
Must familiarize and develop a strategy to coordinate the requirements/needs of all interested parties
Must be able to analyze requested design/construction changes and to manage the change process
Responsible for monitoring the contractor’s progress and schedule
Coordinate communications between contractors, client site personnel and consulting engineers
Prepare reports and summaries as needed
Initiate on-site project meetings as needed
Conduct and attend various meetings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management discipline
Minimum 10 to 15 years of progressively responsible experience in the area of project and construction management
Proficient in standard Microsoft Office projects
Thorough knowledge of architectural/engineering design and construction
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively utilizing limited resources to achieve complex goals
Extensive experience in managing and influencing diverse work groups and project teams
Demonstrated customer service decision-making, problem-solving negotiations and interpersonal skills
Preferred
CMR delivery method experience preferred
