The role involves assisting electrical engineers in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design development and checkout of electrical systems

Recommend changes to cognizant engineers to improve system performance

Set up and conduct tests on electrical components and systems

Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment

Install wiring, control systems, and electrical components

Maintain and calibrate electrical instruments and machinery

Ensure systems comply with safety and regulatory standards

Operate diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment

Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems

Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other technicians

Provide feedback on design improvements and system performance
