Responsibilities
Monitor Facebook and Twitter for positive mentions of Del Mar College and posts appropriate for re-posting and/or re-tweeting positive references to Del Mar College and Del Mar Alumni
Alert the College Relations Team of negative situations or inaccurate comments
Explore the campus for photogenic captures
Update Twitter hourly
Update Facebook daily
Post to Instagram daily
Research topics and produce Facebook, Twitter and Instagram messages for official Del Mar College social media outlets, under the direction of College Relations professionals
Qualification
Required
Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed
Strong typing and computer skills
Excellent people and communication skills
Ability to take creative direction, incorporating the College's and Office of Development's best interests with regards to finished products
Dependable in the use of the College's equipment, procedures and processes
Reliable in completing assigned projects in a polished and timely manner
