$13/hr - $13/hrDel Mar College is seeking a Student Assistant for the Architecture Labs Pool. The role involves setting up and printing projects on 3D printers and laser cutters, as well as assisting in the maintenance and operation of the Wood and Metals Shops.

Responsibilities
Receive, setup, and print student files for 3D printing, laser cutters, and other architectural modeling technology and/or be able to assist students with various projects in the Wood and Metals Shops
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the labs/shops. Adhere to and assist in developing lab/shop policies and procedures. Maintain entry logs. Maintain lab/shop consumable supply inventory
Provide support to faculty and staff. Must be available to work evenings and weekends in addition to regular business hours as necessary
Qualification
Required
Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 2 courses earning 6 credit hours each Fall & Spring semesters while employed
Professional verbal and written communications skills
Ability to maintain and assist in the development of lab/shop policies and procedures
Knowledge of 3D printing technology
Knowledge of various CADD and 3D modeling software
Knowledge of plotters and printers and/or basic shop safety practices and construction technologies
Knowledge of various hand tools and power tools
Preferred
Second year Architectural/Drafting Technology or Engineering student
