Stepful is reimagining allied healthcare training by offering affordable, online, instructor-led, and AI-supported programs. They are seeking a highly accomplished Sterile Processing Clinical and Lab Instructor to teach their Sterile Processing Technician program in West Florida.

Responsibilities

Teach hands-on skills to students in an in-person lab setting

Demonstrate proper technique for a given skill and provide live step by step tasks for students to perform

Assess students’ lab and clinical competency for skills and provide feedback

Review and evaluate the required skills students must demonstrate

Communicate regularly with students over email and other communication tools

Join weekly meetings to receive guidance and direction from the internal team at Stepful

Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and prepare and plan for future modules, as needed

Required

3+ years of experience teaching sterile processing, with knowledge of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising

Experience working as a certified Sterile Processing Technician at a clinical setting

Sterile Processing Tech Certification with a minimum of an associate's degree; bachelor's degree in related healthcare field is preferred

Experience with digital tools for teaching and reading lesson plans

Experience teaching students of diverse backgrounds and abilities

Stellar writing and communication skills

Ability to work 30 - 40 hours per week
