Responsibilities
Oversee daily airfreight operations to ensure timely and accurate handling of shipments in compliance with company and regulatory standards
Manage and coordinate team performance, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high service quality and operational efficiency
Monitor and optimize cost control measures, including carrier selection, rate negotiations, and adherence to budget targets
Ensure compliance with customs, security, and safety regulations, maintaining proper documentation and adherence to international trade laws
Drive continuous process improvements by analyzing operational data, resolving issues proactively, and implementing best practices for customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum five years of experience in an airfreight import export role required
Preferred
Preferred to have either an Associate's Degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement
Two years of prior experience in a supervisory role preferred
Completion of any industry related course is an asset
