Responsibilities
Build and maintain customer relationships across government and industry to drive strategic growth
Advocate for York’s space capabilities and business model across the US government
Engage in targeted Space Conferences, congressional events, national security space events, and customer visits
Partner with Business Develop team to identify high-value market, government budgets, and customer opportunities through market and competitive analysis
Provide recommendations and present business development opportunities to pursue
Collaborate with functional leadership (DC Ops VP, BD VP, CTO, LT, Contracts) to align York offerings with customer needs
Develop innovative engagement strategies to communicate York capabilities, secure new business leads; provide the team with win themes for proposals and white papers
Team with DC Office manager to establish an automated approach to knowledge management to continuously manage engagements across diverse customer sets
Qualification
Required
Strong network in US Government (Congress, OMB, DoW, Space/Intel Community)
Outstanding presentation and customer facing communications skills
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workloads
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Driven to achieve and deliver consistent high-quality results
Self-motivated and able to operate in a complex social environment with minimal guidance
Works well in a team environment and at all levels across
