Volunteer: Fundraising & Donor Research Support Needed for Refugee Sports Program
Movement in Refuge is a nonprofit organization focused on empowering refugee youth through sports and recreation. They are seeking a volunteer to help create a fundraising strategy and conduct donor research to raise $500,000 for their programs in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.

Responsibilities
Review current fundraising efforts and identify gaps
Design a 12-month roadmap with realistic goals to raise $500,000
Recommend a mix of funding sources (foundations, corporate partners, individuals, peer-to-peer)
Research 15-30 prospective donors and funders aligned with our mission
Capture details on giving priorities, past grants, and proposal deadlines
Suggest tools and templates for donor tracking and engagement
Qualification
Required
Experience in fundraising strategy development
Ability to conduct donor research
Skills in identifying gaps in fundraising efforts
Experience in designing actionable roadmaps with realistic goals
Knowledge of various funding sources including foundations, corporate partners, and individuals
Ability to research prospective donors and funders
Skills in capturing details on giving priorities and past grants
Experience in suggesting tools and templates for donor tracking and engagement
