Customs Account Analyst, Senior
Buckland is a customer-focused company that has been enhancing global trade for over 70 years. They are seeking a Senior Customs Account Analyst responsible for documentation preparation, monitoring and coordinating customs release of shipments in compliance with customs regulations.

Responsibilities
Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers by handling client’s queries, Resolving issues that arise with Customs clearance (reject notices, eManifest errors, paper packages, RMD Corrections)
Prepare customs and internal documents accurately and complete high volume of complex customs entries, and invoicing to meet KPI’s
Maintain working knowledge of both current and pending customs and other agency regulations and policies
Conduct tariff research and classification
Document errors for customs account analysts via Error Reporting Process (CND Only)
Accurately complete final invoicing of customs entries to CBSA within the allotted timeframe (CND Only)
Coordinate cross-border release including export pedimento (customs declaration) and drayage coordination (US SB Only)
Above average written and verbal communication skills
Showcase your skills with Microsoft utilizing programs such as Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
Identify potential challenges/risks and solve problems efficiently or work with Leaders for a solution
Foster a fast-paced culture leading by example in terms of accountability and continuous improvement within the team
Effectively prioritize and manage the team multiple and personal tasks to meet KPI's and deadlines
To provide the highest level of customer service by leading and mentoring, fostering a positive and productive work environment and resolving escalated issues as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
CCS Designation (US NB and CND only)
Minimum 3 years in custom brokerage or logistics experience
Intermediate MS Office knowledge
Advanced knowledge of the LVS program
Knowledge of all FTA's and when to apply them to shipments
Knowledge of the PGA's and ability to research requirements
High level of organization, time management and attention to detail
Completion of complex entries
Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times
Valid Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel if required to other offices locations in CAD/USA/MEX
