Developing processes to ensure favorable pricing from Vendors
Developing and maintaining positive Supplier relationships
Ensuring compliance with safety standards
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in the maintenance department
Providing exceptional leadership and direction through coaching, mentorship, supervision and development with a focus on a safe and inclusive environment
Qualification
Required
Four Years College Degree
Experience in purchasing process management
Experience in inventory management
Ability to develop buyers and purchasing agents on system skills and purchasing processes
Experience in resolving supply chain issues including sales tax issues
Ability to develop processes to ensure favorable pricing from Vendors
Ability to develop and maintain positive Supplier relationships
Knowledge of compliance with safety standards
Experience in contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Exceptional leadership and direction skills
Coaching and mentorship skills
Supervisory skills
Ability to create a safe and inclusive environment
