Responsibilities
Perform minor mechanical repairs
Conduct scheduled periodic load tests
Test equipment to ensure the equipment and related components operate in accordance with regulations and standards established for the equipment or set
Process hazardous waste generated by employee in accordance with prescribed procedures
Correct inspection discrepancies listed by inspectors
Qualification
Required
Ability to do the work of a(n) Mechanical Equipment Repairer without more than normal supervision
Demonstrate sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position
Possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles
Lift up to 45lbs in the regular performance of duties
Obtain and maintain a Forklift Operator License to operate forklift equipment
Work in shifts and overtime as needed
Complete a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter
Use personal protective equipment provided by the employer
