Responsibilities

Provide essential assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care
Ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations by handling tasks that support the diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural aspects of patient care
Perform diagnostic neurophysiological and cardiovascular testing to assist in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of neurological and cardiac conditions
Conduct digital electroencephalograms (dEEG) to evaluate brain activity and electrocardiograms (EKG or ECG) to assess heart function
Diagnose, treat, and care for patients, often including face-to-face interactions with patients
Design and implement clinical programs, policies, and services using specialized knowledge and skills

Qualification

Required

Graduate of an accredited formal medical education program such as CVT, EMT, Paramedic, Radiography, Respiratory Therapy, Sonography, or Associate's Degree or greater in a Health Sciences related field
Maintains certifications in ACLS
Preparing for certification in PALS, with manager discretion
Clinical patient care experience, 2 years or more strongly preferred
Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience
Vocational or technical education
Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100lbs
Ability to wear lead aprons for extended periods of time
Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills
Attention to detail and ability to write legibly

Preferred

Radiography Technician preferred
Clinical patient care experience, 2 years or more strongly preferred
