Responsibilities

Must be knowledgeable of electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles relating to electrical systems, concepts, and application of maintenance directives
Ability to interpret the meaning of symbols used in wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
Must have the ability to properly handle, use, and dispose of hazardous waste and materials
Possess the skill to remove and replace F-16 aircraft parts and accessories/components
Have the skill to make adjustments and settings according to established Technical Data Specifications

Minimum of six (6) years total and two (2) years recent (within 4 years of task order PoP start) experience in aircraft maintenance support on F-16 aircraft as an avionics technician in order to accomplish required follow-on operations
Must have experience working with aircraft wiring, technicians will be installing Avionics system modifications by routing, terminating 10/100 and Gig Ethernet wiring, copper wires, primary power wires, Coaxial wires, shielded twisted pairs/triplets, and possibly triaxial wires/connectors
Must have a minimum of an active U.S. SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. SECRET clearance and be subject to a government security investigation
Driving or renting a car for company business is expected with some frequency. For insurance purposes, a valid driver's license is required
Do you have the ability to pass a background check to be granted access to the specific working location installation bases to perform work for GMRE?
Normal color vision as defined in AFI 48-123
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
Permanent Travel through September 2028
