They are seeking Year Round - R&D Fellowship Graduate Interns to participate in collaborative research across various areas in computer science and computational science and engineering, focusing on advanced simulation and computing techniques.

Responsibilities
Participate in collaborative research across a wide range of areas in computer science and computational science and engineering, solid mechanics, structural dynamics and thermal mechanics, both theoretical and experimental aspects
Engage in research areas such as advanced computer architectures, systems software, scalable linear and nonlinear solvers, continuous and discrete optimization, uncertainty quantification, multiscale methods, visualization, continuum mechanics, atomistic simulation techniques, scientific machine learning, and artificial intelligence
Explore computational methods to scientific and engineering applications including shock and impact physics, Magneto-Hydro-Dynamics (MHD), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), hypersonics, electrical systems, MEMS, and nanoscience
Qualification
Required
Earned bachelor's degree
Currently attending and enrolled full time in an accredited science, engineering, or math graduate program
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Ability to work up 30 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
Receiving financial support through a fellowship or educational institute program
U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, asylees or refugees in the U.S
Preferred
Currently employed at a PSAAP IV research institute and funded by one of the following PSAAP IV centers: University of Florida, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Michigan, Oregon State University, University of Virginia, Brown University, University of California at San Diego, Michigan State University, and University of New Mexico
