Responsibilities

Perform analytical analysis in support of irradiation effects and nuclear core performance
Provide technical support in reactor operations, radiation effects experiments, radiation dosimetry, nuclear criticality, and critical assembly technical design
Provide technical support in accelerator operations, radiation effects experiments with accelerators, and radiation dosimetry
Proved technical support for configuration management of key nuclear safety systems and experimental equipment in utilized in reactor experiments, reactor operations, engineering, and maintenance

Required

Currently attending and enrolled full time in the spring term immediately preceding the internship (or scheduled to graduate in the spring) in an accredited related undergraduate program
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer
Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship

Preferred

Pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering (nuclear, mechanical, electrical), health physics, or math
