The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine is seeking candidates for a Temporary Administrative Assistant in the Cancer Center. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Scientific Director by providing administrative support, ensuring compliance with regulations, and handling travel arrangements.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day activities of the Scientific Director of the Center for Cancer Research by providing direction and administrative support

Ensure that the Scientific Director is in compliance with the University’s and other various funding agencies, regulations, procedures and guidelines

Handle all travel arrangements and enter travel and expenses into the Concur portal

Set up and schedule meetings via Zoom and conference calls; ensuring all equipment is functional

Attend meetings entering minutes, provide feedback and reminders as needed for attendees
