Entry, Mid, Senior LevelThe University of Pittsburgh's Department of Biostatistics and Health Data Science is inviting applications for a non-tenure track position in the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will engage in methodological and collaborative applied research, participate in teaching activities, and mentor students.

Responsibilities
Play a pivotal role in both methodological and collaborative applied research
Participate in teaching activities
Offer mentorship to students
Collaborate with faculty from the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery
Provide support in study conceptualization and design
Conduct data analysis
Assist in manuscript writing and professional presentations
Develop grant applications using rigorous statistical and computational techniques
Encourage the development of an independent research program
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. degree or equivalent degree in biostatistics, statistics, data science, computer science, bioinformatics, or other related quantitative disciplines
Strong record of peer-reviewed publications (for Associate Professor position)
Proven success in securing and managing external research funding (for Associate Professor position)
Experience in teaching and mentoring students (for Associate Professor position)
Preferred
Exceptional candidates with other areas of research focus will also be considered
