Responsibilities

Translate system requirements into compliant complex printed board assembly designs
Analog and High Frequency RF design and layout
Technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting using complex RF Test equipment
Integrate and Evaluate hardware module performance using simulation tools and prototype hardware in a Laboratory environment
Design and develop test hardware to support DVT (Design Verification Testing) and production testing
Perform RF testing using advanced test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators
Troubleshoot and debug RF systems and components, test station, and process issues down to CCA and component levels
Analyze test data and provide detailed reports on performance, quality, and reliability
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability and reliability
Document test procedures, results, and any issues encountered during testing
Assist in the development of new RF testing methodologies and best practices
Support the hardware engineering department in the execution of RF Technology Training

Required

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum 5 years of prior work experience, or an Advanced degree and minimum 3 years of prior work experience
Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, phase noise analyzers, and signal generators
Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance

Preferred

Experience with testing and troubleshooting RF and Microwave component/subsystem such as up-converters, down converters, power amplifiers, waveform generators, RF modulators, and limiters
Experience with RF principles and test methodologies
Experience in RF testing and validation
Experience with automated test scripts and software tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience with any of the following tools: MATLAB, Python, Computer Simulation Technologies (CST), Microwave Design Studio, High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) and Advanced Design System (ADS)
