Responsibilities
Utilize experience configuring SELinux and creating new SELinux policies for developed application
Design and implement cybersecurity policies in Linux such as operating system hardening and application of cryptography which meet client requirements
Apply additional hardening techniques beyond STIG requirements such as isolating processes to limit device compromise
Design and implement user or group account schema
Design and implement discretionary access control (DAC) to limit sharing of information
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience hardening Linux operating systems in accordance with U.S. government standards such as STIGs or FIPS
Experience with shell scripting
Experience with risk management framework (RMF) and mitigating cybersecurity threats
Ability to apply additional hardening techniques beyond STIG requirements such as isolating processes to limit device compromise
Ability to design and implement user or group account schema
Ability to design and implement discretionary access control (DAC) to limit sharing of information
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Software Engineering
Preferred
Experience applying hardening at scale via infrastructure as code such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
Experience with automated testing tools to verify cyber requirements are correctly implemented such as Chef InSpec
Experience creating Security Enhanced (SE) Linux policies and configuring SELinux
Experience working with cryptography
Knowledge of Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
