Senior District Sales Manager - Pacific Northwest (Remote in WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, UT, AK)

The Senior District Sales Manager is responsible for selling Toshiba products and services via the independent dealer channel to achieve sales quotas and drive profitable revenue in a complex territory.

Responsibilities

Drive sales revenue and market share by managing a defined territory to achieve quota and grow distribution to meet market demands. This includes distribution channel communication, sales calls and demonstrations
Adopt Toshiba’s culture of sales excellence, including established sales processes, pipeline management, forecast accuracy and client relationship focus
Prepare monthly and annual sales forecasts and related sales reports. Analyze and determine sales potential of assigned area
Identify problem areas and communicate regularly with management. Leverage sales system to enter/track all sales data and activities daily
Research, monitor and analyze market trends, competitor’s sales activities, and consumer needs
Establish and maintain relationships at all levels. Work with clients to understand and identify objectives and needs while aligning Toshiba products and services where business opportunities exist
Primary point of contact/relationship manager for channels of distribution: BTA Dealers
Implement sales and marketing programs and sales initiatives for assigned territory
Collaborate with Sales Teams as required to execute sales initiatives that result in increased revenue/market share
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, related field or equivalent experience
A minimum of seven years of sales experience related to high tech business products, MFP's, Solutions and services
MFP and Solutions Products Demonstration skills
Ability to manage large geographic territory and proven track record meeting sales targets for assigned area
Strong client-facing skills and effective selling using consultative approach
Strong communication skills. Demonstrated experience cold calling and prospecting. Must have strong business acumen including sales quota achievement and closing sales
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with strong time management skills
Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office). Must be proficient in salesforce.com or comparable CRM systems
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Strong negotiation, problem-solving and organizational skills
Valid Driver's License is required
Ability to travel frequently
